2012-01-22 - 8:50 p.m. I can't believe another cord of wood already. It’s only been 2 & a half months since the last delivery. I know I have had some fires on warm nights, but still another cord. I only burn four or five split logs a night. Seems like a lot of wood for the four or five hours that I burn. Either I got a short cord., or I am burning more wood than I think. Regardless, I need more woord. Another $180 out of my life1 Quick snow over the weekend. Saturday was a snowy, icy mess. Sunday was better as the temp was in the low 30’s. Tomorrow it will rain and wash everything away. So far, a very mild winter. I don’t really mind the snow, it’s the people I can’t stand. Chance of snow: the supermarkets are devoid of eggs, bread, milk, cheese, bacon. Do these idiots believe that we are never going to get out of our houses? Dumb asses! Only once were we snowed in for more than two days and that was a long time ago. I remember getting my cross country skis and going to the local market for goods. That was a long time ago! And that’s it for tonight. I have to tend to the fire, which I think is burning too hot for my standards. See you in the papers!
